CHESS ACADEMY

Thank God Its Chess Time Chess Academy was founded by Radha Kumar in 2014. It was created to teach kids about the game of chess and rapidly grew in size. In the past year, the academy switched its focus from in-person education to online teaching. This enabled us to educate students from four countries around the world. Our mission remains spreading our love for the game of chess to as many kids as possible.

Radha Kumar, our founder and head coach, has played chess for all her life. She has represented her college in various state and national tournaments. Currently, her USCF Rating is over 1200. Radha has years of experience teaching students and loves to spread her love of chess. In her free time, she loves to write poems, go for walks, and of course, play chess.
